DIFC Courts and Dubai Courts will host Middle East’s first international conference on Court Management
Partnership with International Association for Court Administration (IACA) to boost standards
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 15 April 2013: The International Association for Court Administration (IACA) will meet in Dubai for its first-ever international conference in the Middle East in December 2013, it was announced today.
Working in cooperation with the DIFC Courts and the Dubai Courts, IACA is proud to announce plans for an international conference dedicated to sharing best practices and procedures in court excellence. The event will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai on 9 and 10 December 2013.
IACA is a global association of professionals who share a common interest in promoting improved administration in justice systems worldwide. It is a non-profit association which encourages the pursuit of excellence internationally – collaborating with court officials to develop the institutional frameworks and operational efficiencies of courts everywhere. Its efforts focus on civil- and common-law systems alike.
The Dubai event will be the sixth international conference convened by IACA since its foundation in 2004. Delegates will feature judges, justice ministry officials, senior court managers, lawyers, judicial system consultants and academics from across the world, with attendance expected from more than 40 countries.
The conference will focus on the concept of ‘court excellence’. Speakers will include world renowned experts in the field of operational efficiency, registry support technologies and higher standards of court user response and support.
