CONSENT ORDER
UPON the parties agreeing to engage in settlement discussions with the aim of resolving the issues in dispute and reaching an amicable resolution of the matter
AND UPON the parties requesting a stay of the proceedings for a period of one month to facilitate these settlement discussions
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED BY CONSENT THAT
1. The proceedings in this matter shall be stayed for a period of one month from the date of this Consent Order.
2. During the stay of proceedings, the parties shall actively engage in settlement discussions in good faith, with the aim of resolving all issues in dispute.
3. The parties shall, within seven days following the expiry of the one-month period, provide a joint update to the court on the progress of their settlement discussions.
4. In the event that a settlement is reached during the one-month stay of proceedings, the parties shall promptly notify the court of the terms of the settlement agreement and seek appropriate directions to conclude the matter.
5. If the parties are unable to reach a settlement within the one-month period, they shall promptly notify the court, and the proceedings shall resume as per the court's directions.
6. This Consent Order may be varied or discharged only by further order of the court.
