ORDER OF JUSTICE SIR JOHN CHADWICK MADE 12 JANUARY 2010
UPON hearing Counsel for the Appellant, the First Respondent in person and Counsel for the Second Respondent
IT IS ORDERED THAT:-
1. The Appellant pay to the First Respondent the sum of AED 93,750 awarded to the First Respondent by the Determination of 11 August 2009 of the Director of Employment Standards / Acting in the DIFC, together with interest at the rate of AED 7.40 per day which is assessed from 7 days after the date of the Determination, being 18 August 2009, and as ordered by the Order of this CourtENF 018/2009.
2. The Appellant pay to the First Defendant the published rate of a one-way business class air-fare from Montreal to Dubai, and a sum of AED 1,000 to compensate for accommodation costs in respect of attendance at the hearing.
3. Save as aforesaid there be no order as to costs.
