UPON receiving a request from the Claimants, on 23 April 2020, that a directions hearing be set for the purposes of assisting the parties in finalising the procedural timetable in the case
AND UPON hearing Mr David Craig QC for the Claimants and Ms Bushra Ahmed for the Defendants at a short directions hearing on 30 April 2020 (the “Hearing”)
AND UPON considering relevant documents on the Court file
IT IS ORDERED AND DIRECTED THAT:
1. The trial is to be fixed for three days in September 2020 on a date convenient to the Court.
2. The Defendants are to respond to the Claimants’ Request for Information (served on the Defendants on 8 April 2020) by 4pm on Monday, 11 May 2020.
3. By 4pm on Sunday, 17 May 2020, the parties must provide the Registry:
(a) three potential (agreed) dates for a listing of the trial in September 2020; and
(b) a case management timetable in the form of a draft order to be filed with the Registry by email.
4. Costs of the Hearing are costs in the case.
