Claim No: CFI027/2009
THE JUDICIAL AUTHORITY OF THE DUBAI INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL CENTRE
IN THE COURT OF FIRST INSTANCE
BETWEEN
NIDA FATIMA RAZA | Claimant |
and MILLENNIUM FINANCE CORPORATION LTD | Defendant |
ORDER
In accordance with the Order of the Registrar made on 20 April 2010, and pursuant to Rule 28.17 of the Rules of the DIFC Courts, the Defendant provided an unredacted copy of the Minutes of a Board Meeting of the Defendant on 26 September 2009 (the 'Minutes') to me for my review and determination as to whether any part of the redacted portions of that document related to the termination of employees, their applicable notice periods, or breach by the Defendant of its contractual obligations to employees and should, therefore, be disclosed by the Defendant.
Having reviewed the Minutes, I find that the matters redacted in the version of the Minutes produced to the Claimant do not relate to the termination of employees, their applicable notice periods, or breach by the Defendant of its contractual obligations to employees. Accordingly, I uphold the objection to produce the redacted sections from the Minutes.
