CONSENT ORDER
UPON the urgent application filed on 16 June 2021 (numbered CFI-060-2021/1) and supporting Witness Statement of Mr Stuart Walker, solicitor for the Applicant, dated 15 June 2021 filed in support of the application (the “Application”)
AND UPON the Applicant undertaking to file an application for permission to apply for judicial review by no later than close of business on 24 June 2021
IT IS ORDERED BY CONSENT THAT:
1. No further steps are to be taken in the disciplinary proceedings relating to the Applicant before the Decision Making Committee of the Dubai Financial Services Authority, until:
a. close of business on 24 June 2021; and
b. if the Applicant has filed an application for permission to apply for judicial review by close of business on 24 June 2021, the determination of the Applicant’s claim for permission to apply for judicial review; or
c. further order of this Court.
2. In the event that the Applicant does not file an application for permission to apply for judicial review by close of the business on 24 June 2021, this Order is discharged and the Decision Making Committee of the Dubai Financial Services Authority is free to proceed to take steps in the disciplinary proceedings relating to the Applicant.
3. Either party has liberty to apply.
4. Costs of the Application are in the case.
