UPON reviewing the Third Defendant’s Application Notice CFI-069-2019/1 dated 1 June 2020 requesting production of Documents (the “Application”)
AND UPON reviewing the Claimant’s reply to the Application
AND UPON reading the relevant material in the case file
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
1. The Application is rejected.
2. No order as to costs.

SCHEDULE OF REASONS
3. The Third Defendant filed an application notice CFI-069-2019/1 on 1 June 2020 requesting production of documents (the “Application”).
4. On 11 May 2020, I issued a Case Management Conference Order (“CMC Order”) stating that “the parties shall file their request to produce by no later than 25 May 2020”.
5. The Third Defendant failed to file its request to produce on the date specified in the CMC Order but filed the Application on 1 June 2020.
6. The Third Defendant requested the Claimant to produce the case memorandums and the current status of the foreclosure case filed before the Dubai Courts and the documents in relation to the registration of the bounced cheque case. However, the Third Defendant failed to provide a description/ statement pursuant to RDC 28.17.
7. I am therefore of the view that the Application shall be rejected.
