CONSENT ORDER
UPON the Claimant’s Application No. CFI-070-2022/2 dated 10 November 2023 (the “Application”) seeking to add a new party pursuant to RDC 20.7, this being Liberty Fe Trade DMCC, with licence number DMCC-30786 whose registered office is at Unit: 508, Jumeriah Bay 2, Plot No. JLT-PH2-X2A, Jumeriah Lakes Towers, Dubai, UAE (the “Second Defendant”)
AND UPON the Court’s permission being required to add the Second Defendant as a new party because the claim form has been served, pursuant to RDC 20.11
AND UPON the Defendants consenting to Liberty Fe Trade DMCC being added as the Second Defendant to the Application
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED BY CONSENT THAT:
1. The Second Defendant shall be added as a new party pursuant to RDC 20.7.
2. The Claimant shall file and serve the amended claim form and particulars of claim on the First and Second Defendants by no later than 4pm on 15 December 2023.
3. The Claimant is to serve a copy of the order adding the Second Defendant on the First Defendant and the Second Defendant.
4. The First and Second Defendants shall file and serve a joint Defence on the Claimant by no later than 4pm on 12 January 2024.
5. The Claimant shall file and serve any Reply on the First and Second Defendants by no later than 4pm on 2 February 2024.
6. Costs shall be costs in the case.
7. The parties shall have liberty to apply.
