UPON reviewing the Claimant’s Application No. CFI-090-2021/1 dated 3 February 2022 seeking an order permitting service upon the Defendants by an alternative method (the “Application”)
AND UPON considering all documents filed in support of the Application
AND PURSUANT to Rules 9.31, 9.32, 9.33, 9.36 and 9.54 of the Rules of the DIFC Courts (the “RDC”)
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
1. The Application is granted.
2. The Claimant shall be permitted to serve the Claim Form by publication, once in an English language newspaper and once in an Arabic language newspaper.
3. The Claimant shall file a Certificate of Service along with copies of the English and Arabic newspapers (publishing the Claim Form) on the DIFC Courts’ eRegistry portal.
4. Service must be affected by 4pm on 31 March 2022.
5. Costs in the case.
