DIFC Courts Rules of Court Order No. 7 of 2017 in respect of Part 57 of the Rules of the DIFC Courts – establishing the Wills Registry for Non-Muslims (“WRNM”)

Dubai Law No. 12 of 2004 in respect of the Judicial Authority at the DIFC, as amended;

Dubai Law No. 15 of 2017 concerning the Administration of Non-Muslim Estates in Dubai and

Execution of their Wills;

Resolution 4 of 2014 in respect of the DIFC Wills and Probate Registry for Non-Muslims;

DIFC Law No. 10 of 2004, the DIFC Courts Law;

DIFC Order No. 1 of 2014 in respect of the Rules of the DIFC Courts;

Dispute Resolution Authority Order No. 1 of 2015 in respect of the DIFC Wills and Probate

Registry Rules;

Part 55 of the Rules of the DIFC Courts;

and

The DIFC Wills and Probate Registry Rules:
Make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as Rules of Court Order No. 7 of 2017.
2. By this Order, I issue Part 57 of the Rules of the DIFC Courts (“RDC”) – establishing the Wills
Registry for Non-Muslims (“WRNM”).
3. Part 57 of the RDC will come into force on the date of signature.
4. This shall first be reflected in the online version of the RDC, and subsequently in hardcopies published by the DIFC DRA Academy of Law.
