Corrections in Court Orders
Citation
This Registrar’s Direction will come into effect on the date of signature. It may be cited as Registrar’s Direction 2 of 2010 — Corrections in Court Orders and may be abbreviated to RD 2/2010.
Where a party files an application for the correction of an error made in an order per Rule 36.41 of the Rules of the DIFC Courts, the Courts will charge the standard application fee of USD 100.00. However, the application fee will be reversed if the reason for the error was a clerical mistake on the part the Courts’ Registry.
Per Rule 36.42 of the Rules of the DIFC Courts, the application and corresponding draft order for the correction of an error in an order must be precise in setting out the nature of the error and the exact wording of the correction sought.
